The Web Design Professional is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites. The role combines creative design skills with technical knowledge to ensure websites deliver an excellent user experience while supporting business and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design website layouts, page structures, and user interfaces.
• Develop responsive websites compatible with desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Create wireframes, mock-ups, and design concepts for client approval.
• Integrate graphics, images, videos, and multimedia elements into websites.
• Maintain and update existing websites and web content.
• Ensure websites comply with accessibility, usability, and SEO best practices.
• Work with content management systems such as WordPress and other web platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, marketing teams, and clients to deliver web solutions.
• Conduct website testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
• Monitor website performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms.
• Research and implement new design trends and technologies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience with WordPress, Elementor, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and web design software.
• Understanding of SEO and website performance optimisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Web Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience preferred.
• Portfolio of completed website projects.
